1.Connection

1.1Login

Authorized users can log in DaouOffice with a supported web browser and Internet connection. The supported web browsers are listed below.

You must be a member to log in DaouOffice. You cannot enroll a membership in DaouOffice.

You can set a language (Korean, English, Japanese or Chinese) at the top of the screen during login. The language used by the web browser is set as default.

Connect the web service and enter the ID and password then click Login.

Depending on the login type set by the site admin, you may have to enter an e-mail address and recognition number instead of an ID.

If you use OTP(One Time Password), you will have to enter the OTP password obtained from the instantaneous password authenticator in addition to the ID and password each time you log in. Contact the site administrator if you do not have the instantaneous password authenticator.

If you forget your password, you can generate a ‘temporary password’ using ‘Forgot Password’. Click ‘Forgot Password’ below the ID and password entry box, and enter the required information. The temporary password will be sent to the email address you previously registered with.


If you have not registered an email address, or when the administrator has disabled the relevant function (password regeneration), this function may not be available.

Auto Input Prevention Text (CAPTCHA) Login

With Admin Settings in Site Admin, CAPTCHA function is activated for hacking prevention when incorrect password is entered continuously.

Login is processed when password and security text are entered correctly.

CAPTCHA function is available in desktop web service or mobile web service only. It is not available in mobile app and desktop messenger. In case of continuous incorrect password input in mobile app and desktop messenger, please log in through desktop web service or mobile web service.

1.2Logout

Terminate the session by logging out from the logged in screen.
To log out, click the User Profile photo at the top right and then Logout in the submenu

1.3Editing Personal Information

You can change the picture, phone number and main number displayed in you profile. They are the items that are displayed when another user checks your profile.

You can also change the default language or password.

Personal information can be modified when it is permitted by Admin as designated in Site Admin.

Changing Basic Information

To modify your personal information, click the Admin icon() next to the Logout icon() in the upper right corner of the screen and click Basic Info in the menu.

You can modify the personal information as follows

A user affiliated with two or more departments can change the order of the departments. The top department is set as the user’s main department.


The main department is always displayed at the top in the user’s profile. In a situation when only one department can be used (automatic completion of e-mail address, caller ID display on an Android device, etc.), only the main department is displayed.

To reset the picture in the profile, click Delete next to the picture.

Changing Password

You can change your password as follows:

  1. Click User Profile in the upper right corner of the screen and Basic Information in the submenu

  2. Click Change Password. The Password Change window is displayed.

  3. Enter the current password and a new password. Then, click Save

Registering an External Email Address

Please register an external email address so that you receive a ‘temporary password’ when you forget your password.

  1. Enter your email address in ‘External Email’ and click ‘Save’ below.

  2. A verification email will be sent to the email address you specified above.

  3. Open your inbox and the verification email. Follow the instructions to complete the verification.

List of Recent Notifications

All and unread notifications can be checked by menu.

When notification screen is opened, badge count is initialized regardless of the notification read status. Although the counting display is initialized, notification read/not read are separately displayed.

Configuration

The service environment can be configured as follows:

  1. Click User Profile in the upper right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Configuration in the submenu.

  3. Configure the service environment.

    1. Language Setting - Select a language to use.

    2. Blocking Overseas Login - Specify whether or not to allow login from overseas.

    3. Setting Menu Theme - You can select a theme you wish to apply.

      1. Classic - A basic theme where menus are listed individually

      2. Advanced - A theme where menus at the top are aligned to the left and the workspace is optimized to wide screen

  4. Click Save when configuration is complete.

If there is no occasion of login from overseas, it is recommended to block overseas login to the security measure.

Notification Settings

Detailed notification settings can be configured by Menu/Device/Target. Click User Profile in the upper right corner of the screen and Notification in the submenu.

Setting Mobile Security

If you lost the device where the DaouOffice app is installed, you can remotely delete data stored in the app, thus keeping your corporate information secure.

  1. Check the information of the registered devices in ‘Mobile Security Setting’.

  2. Select a device that you lost or from which you want to disable DaouOffice in, and select ON or OFF.

    1. ON – Enables DaouOffice on the device.

    2. OFF – Disables DaouOffice on the device, and resets all data.

    3. Delete – Removes the device from the list.

If you cannot see a device from the list, please logout and login again, and the device will be registered.
