Attendance management becomes more convenient with DaouOffice.
In line with the introduction of the 52-hour work week system, the maximum working hours per week have been changed from 68 to 52 hours. An employer who violates this regulation will be punished by imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to KRW 20 million. This system has been implemented for over one year, since July of last year, in business establishments with at least 300 employees. From next year, it will also be implemented in business establishments with 50 employees or more. Here is some information you should check out to prepare for the 52-hour work week system.
In response to the 52-hour work week system, numerous businesses are adopting the “flexible workplace system.” According to the Labor Standards Act, the flexible workplace system is implemented in various forms, such as flexible work hours system, discretionary work hours system, and compensatory leave system. To introduce the flexible workplace system, a system to check and manage employee working hours is essential. DaouOffice provides an attendance management function in response to the flexible workplace system.

What is your working status?
Time and attendance management provides basic status of going to work, leaving work, working, and ending work. You can also add status, such as outing, meeting, going out, or private. When adding, you can set the status to include in working hours such as outing and meeting, and not include in working hours such as personal business or going out.

The previous method cannot calculate the weekday work / extension work time.
Since you are using a new time and attendance service, not an upgrade of the old e-HR function,
If you have used the existing time and attendance management function of e-HR, please refer to it.
The hours of work status are not included in the total working hours!
It has been arranged for the status values used in the previous attendance management system to be used in the new attendance management system.
If you find that the hours of work status are not included in the total working hours, this is because it has been set to not include the previously used status values in your working hours.
Attendance manager must change the setting to Attendance Type Management > Settings > Include in Working Hours on the admin. page.
Working outside, meeting registration
If you look back at your work schedule during the day, you will see many working conditions after you go to work. For accurate working hours and systematic management, the operator can create various working states. You do not have to use your work status.

According to the revised Labor Standards Act of 2018, we work 52 hours, including 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week and 12 hours an extension. However, in the course of work, situations arise that require additional work. In these cases, you may be asked in advance for time to work or be approved for the time you have already worked. In this case, you can ask for working hours via eApproval for the time you have already worked.

Generating/carrying forward/lapsing annual leave
Generating annual leave
If [Start Annual Leave] is set to be implemented concurrently with the registration of the date of employment, annual leave is automatically updated based on the fiscal year and the criteria for employment date setting. Refer to the sample data below!
Classification | Annual Leave | Monthly Leave |
---|---|---|
Fiscal year (based on Jan. 1)→ Based on employment on May 15 | Automatic generation on Jan. 1, 2019 for full attendance until Dec. 31, 2018 10 in total | One each automatically generated on the 15th of each month from Jun. to Dec. 2018 7 in total |
① DaouOffice calculates the days of leave on a monthly basis. ② Annual leave is calculated as 15 days x ((13 - month of employment start date) / 12). ③ A value of 0.25 or higher and less than 0.75 is calculated as 0.5 day. A value of 0.75 or higher is calculated as 1 day. | ||
Based on the date of employment → Based on employment on May 15 | Automatic generation for full attendance for one year from May 15, 2018 to May 15, 2019 15 in total | One each automatically generated on the 15th of each month from Jun. 2018 to Apr. 2019 11 in total |
In the case it is set for the admin. to randomly adjust annual leave, the admin. can adjust annual leave as necessary. Information on addition and generation of annual leave can be checked on My Annual Leave Details page.
For calculation of the number of days for annual leave to be provided in the following year in relation to full-attendance in a fiscal year from the date of employment to the last day of the year, DaouOffice provides a function for calculation on a monthly basis rather calculation on a daily basis (365 days).
Carrying forward/lapsing annual leave
Classification | Description | Carry-over/Lapse |
---|---|---|
Annual Leave | Automatically updated according to length of service | If not used, annual leave is automatically lapsed rather than carried forward |
Monthly Leave | Monthly leave generated by one per month of full attendance for workers who have been employed for less than one year Generated by up to 11 | If not used, annual leave is carried forward for up to two years based on fiscal year and one year based on the date of employment and then automatically lapsed |
Manually Added Annual Leave | Annual leave added by admin. through [Annual Leave Adjustment] | If not used, annual leave is automatically lapsed after the expiration date set. |
DaouOffice annual leave status function automatically lapses the number of days of annual leave based on the length of service. So, the application for annual leave or annual leave promotion system must be used through separate approval.
Although the year is renewed on the basis of fiscal year/date of employment, adjusted annual leave added by admin. is not lapsed even on the expiration date.
