Overview
You can use Daou Office email in “Mail” app provided by default in iPhone. Daou Office email is provided in the IMAP standard email client format.
What is IMAP?
IMAP(Internet Message Access Protocol) is a standard for receiving an email in the mail server through a network. It provides more diverse and powerful functions than POP3.
Settings
Make settings to use Daou Office email in iPhone “Mail” app.
Start App
Start “Mail” app.
Start “Mail” app and touch “Other.”
Add Account
Add an email address used in Daou Office to “Mail” app.
New Account
Enter name, email address and password.
As for the name, enter name to be used when sending/ receiving email.
In the email address field, enter email address used in Daou Office.
Enter password for Daou Office account.
Touch “Next.”
When entering email address, make sure to enter all email addresses rather than just the account ID used in Daou Office.
Account Input
A name entered on the previous page is automatically entered.
An email address entered on the previous page is automatically entered.
Enter mail.daouoffice.com in incoming email server host name field.
Enter the same username as that for email.
Enter account password used in Daou Office.
Enter smtp.daouoffice.com in outgoing email server host name field.
Save Account
Touch “Save.”
Add Account Completed
This screen shows the state where account addition has been completed.
Use
Read Email in “Mail” App
Send an email from Daou Office Webmail and check if the email is successfully received in “Mail” app.
This screen shows if an email sent from Daou Office Webmail has been successfully received in “Mail” app. Touch an email in incoming mailbox and check contents of the email.
Write Email in “Mail” App
This screen shows where you are composing an email in “Mail” app.
Check if an email sent from “Mail” app has been successfully received in Webmail. This screen shows that an email sent from “Mail” app has been successfully received in Webmail.

Overview
You can use Daou Office email in “Mail” app provided by default in iPhone. Daou Office email is provided in the IMAP standard email client format.
What is IMAP?
IMAP(Internet Message Access Protocol) is a standard for receiving an email in the mail server through a network. It provides more diverse and powerful functions than POP3.
The manual has been prepared using Android 6.0.1 operating system of Galaxy S6. The settings screen can vary by smartphone device type. However, in case of Android operating system, the setting methods are very similar.
Settings
Make settings to use Daou Office email in Android “Email” app.
Start App
Touch “Email” app
Add Account
Add an email address used in Daou Office to “Email” app.
Add New Account
Touch “Add New Account.” Enter email address and password in “Add New Account” window.
Enter email address used in Daou Office.
Enter password for Daou Office account.
Touch “Login.”
When entering email address, make sure to enter all email addresses rather than just the account ID used in Daou Office.
IMAP Account
Touch “IMAP Account.”
Manual Settings
On manual settings page, enter email address, user name and password, which are the account information.
Enter email address used in Daou Office.
Enter user name to be used when sending/receiving email.
Enter password for Daou Office account.
When entering email address, make sure to enter all email addresses rather than just the account ID used in Daou Office.
Enter mail.daouoffice.com in IMAP server input window.
Enter 143 in port input window.
Error can occur if a typo is included. Make sure to prevent typos.
Enter smtp.daouoffice.com in SMTP server input window.
Enter 25 in port input window.
Check “Authentication Necessary before Sending Email.”
Enter a name to be used when sending/receiving email in “Email” app.
Enter account password used in Daou Office.
Touch “Login.”
Error can occur if a typo is included. Make sure to prevent typos.
Add Account Completed
This screen shows that an account has been added to “Email” app. You can see that there are no emails in incoming mailbox because the account has not been synchronized.
Synchronize Account
Touch “View More” at the top-right of mailbox.
Touch “Set.”
Touch the current account for which to start account synchronization.
Touch “Synchronize Account” to start account synchronization. This screen shows a state in which synchronization has been completed.
Use
Read Email in “Email” App
Send an email from Daou Office Webmail and check if the email is successfully received in “Email” app.
